I'm not your average writer and media guru.

I write, design, shoot and edit. I believe everyone has a story.

I am confident that I am the person to tell those stories.

Along SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown line, things are heating up

A new addition is coming soon to the eateries that have sprouted by the tracks of the Lansdale/Doylestown SEPTA regional rail line in recent years. At one end of the line, you might say, are a pair of cafes serving commuters at the start and end of their days. At the other end, a restaurant is rising from the ashes in Glenside and a long-dormant restaurant space along the rails in Jenkintown is in rehab.

Roadside memorials: a place to grieve or safety concern?

Exactly 4,800 daffodils planted in the shape of a heart bloom along the Route 611 bypass in Doylestown, Bucks County, where nine-year-old Holly Huynh was killed in a horrific, high-speed crash caused by two racing cars on the eve of last Thanksgiving. About seven miles away in Hatfield, an array of balloons, flowers, and a photograph of 15-year-old Dennis Kee sits in the overgrown grass off the shoulder of Route 309 near Mill Road.

Katie Brubaker, a Souderton resident, will illustrate a children’s book written by a 12-year-old cancer survivor, Peter Zucca of Harleysville. A sophomore at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, she first heard about Peter from her mother, who is a supporter of the boy's organization, The Peter Powerhouse Foundation, which helps raise money to improve the lives of children with cancer.

About

Madison M. Moore

My passion is writing and all things media. As a young professional, I have been able to see the transition from traditional media to this new, fresh, digital era we have entered.

Some of my work includes writing for print newspapers, producing content for online news organizations, writing profiles and press releases to strengthen a brand strategy, and serving as a social media coordinator for numerous organizations.

If I've learned one thing from the world of media and communication, it's that there is always a story to tell. With my skill sets I'm always ready for a new story, but along the way I've learned to adapt to the company/ client/organization in order to produce the best work possible.

Really, I'm just one multifaceted media chick.

Please review my clips in my Pressfolio, visit me on LinkedIn or contact me personally for more examples of my work.
